It's a blow to the guests staying there that will certainly gamble, drink and spend money at the property. I'm mixed about Harrah's mostly because of the RESORT FEE.
Our room wasn't as clean as we had hoped for but it still was good and we cleaned-up a bit upon our arrival (the maids must have a very hurried schedule and are not to blame). Excellent location and of course parking is free at all casino properties Harrah's included.
This hotels location sits right at the California/Nevada stateline. Heavy cigarette smoke is everywhere and evident but Harrah's does a very good job of keeping it away from hotel floors. What's included: Local phone calls (we all have cell phones for that) Gym access (we all came to gamble and drink, not workout) Internet FOR ONLY 1 DEVICE (usually free or $9.95 to 12.95 at other hotels) That's what cost guests another $20.00 (PLUS TAX) per night. Harrah's Lake Tahoe wants another $20.00 per night from its guest.
